IN HER OWN WORDS:

I see pubic service as an easy way for every individual to lend a hand to the less fortunate. We all have had that point in our lives where, nothing seems to be going right. Our world is lucky enough to have individuals who want to make it right. Public service is needed to aid people in survival. I believe that with a career in public service I can truly change the lives of others for the better. Overall, in the future I hope to hold a career in public service for a not for profit organization, where I can be a part of something bigger.

Being a member Broward League of Cities Ambassador Program would allow me to sit in on the meetings of government officials and learn just how the government is run. I believe that being an Ambassador will allow me to become a better leader, through watching the techniques of professionals whom are already in the field. This opportunity will provide me with real life demonstrations instead of reading it from a text book- an experience I will always remember.  With the knowledge I have gained from elected officials, I hope to use it to further my knowledge of working in the public service field.
